I published the last entry and noticed that the category “OPML Editor” appeared on WordPress for the post “How to post a link.” Why didn’t the other categories show up?

I’m still not sure how categories work. I’ve defined some on the OPML editor side and applied them but verything on WordPress shows up as “uncategorized.” It my be time to rtfm. ;-)

I’m making some progress with the OPML editor and WordPress. Mapping outliner functions to page results has been done with trial and error. That’s how I work. There a probably others ways, but this works for me.

I like the concept of an outliner for blog management. Some things that would be cool:

Sync read/unread with other aggregators
Set the WordPress blog as the default blog outline (intead of “Today’s Outline” which updates the blog at opml.org)

These are not feature requests, just ideas that I’m recording here.

I’ve switched to tablet mode to explain this post. It got here from NewsRiver. By default it went into “Today outline.” “Copy” and “paste” put it in the WordPress outline. I want to find a way for it to go to the WordPress outline by default.
